Penny (Herod) Espinoza grew up in Fort Worth Texas...the youngest of six siblings. She began her writing career as a staff reporter, city editor, and columnist for The Clifton Record, The Walnut Springs Express, and The Bosque County News. Her earlier published works also include her contribution to The Hill College Prism, where Penny tells of the loss of her father, Jesse Herod.
She is the proud mother of three and the other half to one very patient man. Penny describes herself as a laid-back woman...but over-protective mother, happily married wife, p/t entrepreneur, singer/songwriter with a passion for new sounds, a woman with wanderlust and lover of nature, an everyday-dreamer with worldly ambitions.
She writes from the road, where she is currently travelling with her family in their 71 Westfalia Campmobile. Follow her travels and adventures on her blog Writing & Wanderlust.
